Today Congressman Don Bacon (NE-02) released a statement following the announcement of a new Drug Enforcement Administration Division Office in Omaha, Nebraska:

“The decision to designate Omaha as the location for a new DEA Division Office will facilitate greater criminal case and information sharing, as well as coordination throughout the Midwest and with local, tribal, and state agencies. This new Division Office will allow our Omaha community and the Midwest to be at the forefront of national drug issues, including the ongoing efforts to prevent illicit drug trafficking. I look forward to working with federal, state, and local partners to combat the opioid crisis and other drug epidemics.”
