Congressman Don Bacon advocates for more trade deals to help struggling farmers

Corn, it's one of the things Nebraska is best known for, and now it's a crop that many are struggling to profit from.

For months, business owners and farmers have been voicing concerns on the impact continued tariffs may have. Last week, the Nebraska Farm Bureau said there are farmers who may not make it or break even.

Nebraska's GDP has dropped 6%, and Congressman Don Bacon said tariffs aren't helping. Bacon said the state and the country need more trade deals, and the Congress needs to reclaim its authority over tariffs.
