Medicare Open Enrollment is October 15 – December 7

OMAHA, NE – Staff members from Congressman Don Bacon’s (NE-02) District office will join Volunteers Assisting Seniors (VAS) for several Medicare Open Enrollment events throughout the district. Medicare Open Enrollment ​begins October 15 and continues through December 7.

VAS is contracted by the Nebraska Department of Insurance to provide unbiased, objective information to seniors about Medicare coverage options and provide assistance during enrollment. These services are supported by a federal grant from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

“Our team will be on hand at many of these enrollment events to provide seniors additional information about federal programs to assist with their transition into retirement,” said Congressman Bacon. “My staff will be joining VAS to provide additional information and resources for seniors on Oct. 18, 24; Nov. 2, 16; and Dec. 4.”
