WASHINGTON — Following President Joe Biden's inauguration, Rep. Don Bacon issued a statement calling for his "fellow Nebraskans and Americans" to join him in being committed to the "spirit of bipartisanship and civility."

In his statement, Bacon wished the Biden administration well and said he respects the election, adding that he will be looking for "areas of consensus for the sake of our country."
