BACON, BOST, STAUBER CO-LEAD MAIN STREET CAUCUS FOR 117th CONGRESS

Washington, DC – Representatives Don Bacon (NE-02), Mike Bost (IL-12), and Pete Stauber (MN-08) today announced they will serve as co-chairs of the Republican Main Street Caucus during the 117th Congress. Main Street is a group comprised of 60 Republican members who are dedicated to strong, conservative principles related to economic, business, environmental, and national security policy, and believe in governing in a thoughtful and pragmatic manner.

“For years, I’ve committed to implementing pro-growth policies for small business owners, strengthening our national security, and supporting legislation that has the American people’s best interests at heart,” said Rep. Bacon. “I thank my friends and House colleagues Reps. Bost and Stauber for co-leading this Caucus with me and for tackling some of our nation’s toughest issues through practical, common-sense, and conservative values.”

“Southern Illinoisans sent me to Washington to deliver real results that support American workers, keep their families safe, and empower their businesses to create new jobs in their communities,” said Rep. Bost. “I’m honored to work alongside Reps. Bacon and Stauber to launch the Republican Main Street Caucus today to provide a space for our conservative colleagues to come together to find practical solutions to the many challenges our nation faces.”

“Since arriving in Congress, I’ve striven to enact reforms that strengthen and grow the workforce and our small businesses, foster economic and individual prosperity, and enhance national security,”said Rep. Stauber. “That’s why I am humbled and honored to have been selected to co-chair the Republican Main Street Caucus along with my colleagues Don Bacon and Mike Bost and continue these important efforts. Together, I know we will find commonsense solutions to many of the pressing issues facing American families.”
