Today, Congressman Don Bacon (NE-02) joined his House colleagues and voted yes to adopt the Senate Amendment to the House passed Budget Resolution.

“Today I voted to approve the Senate Amendment to the House passed Budget, allowing tax reform to move ahead. This budget restrains spending and unleashes economic growth through tax reform. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I am pleased the Budget allows for higher defense spending contingent on future adjustments to discretionary caps for defense and national security. The Budget Resolution will allow budget enforcement in the House which will strengthen fiscal discipline. Congress can immediately start working on tax relief for hard working families and businesses.”
