Washington, D.C. – Rep. Don Bacon (NE-02) today announced he will be joining a bill titled, “Access to Safe Contraception Act of 2022”, as soon as it is introduced by Rep. Stephanie Bice (OK-5).

"Women and men deserve to have the peace of mind in knowing they have access to safe FDA-approved contraception,” said Bacon. “This law does that by preventing any state from banning FDA-approved contraception for use as contraception.”

The bill also preserves conscience protections for healthcare providers and maintains state regulation of medicine and pharmacy practice.
