Congressman Don Bacon (NE-02) made the following statement on President Donald J. Trump’s executive action regarding the “Water of the United States” (WOTUS) rule:

“As a member of the House Agriculture and Small Business Committees, I am focused on alleviating unnecessary regulatory burdens on our nation’s small businesses, ranchers, and farmers.  The EPA’s WOTUS rule continues to be overreaching and devastating to many small businesses and family farmers.  President Trump’s executive action is a critical step in pulling back the layers of regulatory red tape to provide some needed relief.  I look forward to working with the Administration to empower and grow our small business and agricultural economies.”
