OMAHA, NE — Congressman Don Bacon (NE-02) issued the following statement in regards to the London terror attacks:

"Not only do our prayers go out to the people of London, but as Theresa May said in her statement last night, 'Enough is Enough', in this global fight against radical Islamic terrorism.We will stand with Great Britain and build upon our strong military and intelligence partnership that has long been a cornerstone of our national security strategy. Her enemy is our enemy.

We have witnessed an increase in the frequency of these heinous attacks of terror on innocent civilians and all nations must work together to stop these vile terrorists. We must directly engage them, target their financing and recruiting, and work with our Sunni Allies to undermine the ideology that fuels their hatred and willingness to murder.

We pray for those who are grieving loved ones lost in London, and commit ourselves to defeat this scourge of humanity once and for all."
