Bacon Welcomes Members to Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation

Washington, D.C. – Rep. Don Bacon (NE-02) today welcomed the Members of the House Armed Services Committee’s (HASC) Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation:

“I look forward to returning as Chair of the Cyber, Information Technologies and Innovation Subcommittee in the 119th Congress.  America is under attack every day in the cyber domain by adversaries like China and Russia and our military cyber force must be better trained, equipped, and postured to deter and respond to these escalating attacks.  Simultaneously, we must deliver advanced and innovative technologies to the warfighter at commercial speeds and scale in all domains to ensure our warriors never face an enemy in a fair fight.  Last, we must accelerate the transformation of our defense information networks and electromagnetic spectrum warfare capabilities to preserve and extend our critical information advantage.  These are complex national challenges requiring bi-partisan solutions and I look forward to working with my colleagues on the subcommittee to deliver results.”
