"Judge Kavanaugh’s credentials are impeccable and he has a proven track record of applying the law as written,  as well as enforcing the text, structure, and original understanding of the Constitution, and as amended. His opinions have been endorsed by the Supreme Court more than a dozen times, including some of his dissents. While I do not have a vote in the confirmation process, I would like to offer my congratulations on the President’s pick as Judge Kavanaugh is the type of jurist he promised to appoint. I look forward to hearing more about our next Supreme Court Justice."
