Bacon Announces 2020 Congressional Art Competition Winners

Omaha, Neb.—Congressman Don Bacon (NE-02) today announced the winners of the 2020 Congressional Art Competition, from Nebraska’s Second District.

Rep. Bacon works with the Nebraska Art Teachers Association to coordinate the competition. The first place-artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. While second place will be displayed in Rep. Bacon’s Washington D.C. office and third place in the Omaha District office. 

“The Congressional Art Competition is a great way for our youth to showcase their talents to the world,” said Rep. Bacon. “While this year’s award ceremony was canceled due to the coronavirus, I felt it was important to still highlight their talent to the district. I also thank their parents and faculty for their support.”

Kaylee Galloway’s work will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.

Aniya Foster’s work will be displayed in Bacon’s Washington, D.C. office.
