BACON RECEIVES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE LEADERSHIP AWARD

Scored 100% - Highest Ranked Republican

Omaha, NE – Congressman Don Bacon (NE-02) was today recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with the Abraham Lincoln Leadership Award, for demonstrating leadership critical to advancing policies supportive of America’s free enterprise system. The award is presented to the top 20 members of Congress who have demonstrated through their actions, the leadership critical to advancing policies that support America’s free enterprise system. Rep. Bacon was the highest-ranked Republican in the House with a score of 100 percent.
 
“Our free-market system has helped our nation to grow and prosper and as legislators, we need to ensure that federal regulations help foster that growth and not restrict it,” said Rep. Bacon. “My colleagues and I have shown that working across the aisle beforehand in refining proposals and building support is essential to passing legislation that will fuel our economy and get money back into the pockets of hardworking Americans.
