“I congratulate President Trump and the leaders of Israel and the United Arab Emirates on today’s historic announcement. As the third Arab country and first Gulf nation to achieve the full normalization of relations with the Jewish state, the United Arab Emirates’ agreement with Israel shows that bold diplomacy can provide a vision for a more peaceful and prosperous future for all. It is my hope that this agreement will pave the way for similar diplomatic breakthroughs throughout the region. I commend President Trump for his diplomacy and leadership in forging the most significant advancement in Middle East peace in decades.”
