OMAHA, Neb. — Filling jobs in Nebraska crept to the front of people's minds as they celebrated Labor Day in downtown Omaha.

Thousands of men and women who walked in Monday's Septemberfest parade downtown possess job skills that are currently in high demand.

Even while having the lowest unemployment rate in the U.S., elected leaders — at a state and labor union level — want to help keep the economic recovery going.
