GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Heeding concerns from rural America, Democrats have dropped a controversial tax proposal.

It comes as farmers gather at the Husker Harvest Days, raising concerns about President Joe Biden's agenda. 

It appears Congress has killed a proposal that would’ve increased taxes on farm ground transitioning from one generation to the next.
