OMAHA, NE. –  Staff members from Congressman Don Bacon’s (NE-02) District office will join Volunteers Assisting Seniors (VAS) for several Medicare Open Enrollment events throughout the district.  Medicare Open Enrollment will start October 15 and continue until December 7.

The VAS receives a federal grant through the Nebraska Department of Insurance to provide unbiased, objective information to seniors about Medicare coverage options to help them make an informed choice.

“Our team will be on hand at many of these events to provide seniors additional information about federal programs to assist with their transition into retirement,” said Congressman Bacon. “My staff will be joining VAS to provide additional information and resources for seniors on Oct. 25 & 27; Nov. 3, 9, 17, and 30.”
